This means there must be an airborne disease set in the protagonist waken world. The object that Lloyd took from the enemy plague doctor in the scene was a key. Perhaps this symbolizes the doctor has taken Lloyd’s freedom away? Did Lloyd run away from a hospital? Is he sick? What could it indeed mean? Who knows. That’s one aspect of what makes this game so fun! ... "
