It’s a consequence of attempting to apply human-level reactions to canine behavior and/or dog-specific incident. It’s like those (educational on their own terms) DisneyNature documentaries where Sam Jackson or John C. Reilly narrate the onscreen animal action so as to make “Gee, they’re just like us” connections. ... "
